The primary responsibility is to assist in managing all day-to day activities under the scope of Global Procurement, delivering value to the business through operational processes and services. This role will be a full-time position with outstanding opportunities for you to grow. • Manage all aspects of daily purchasing management.
• Resolve all distribution centre, goods inwards queries with regards to deliveries/stock/purchase orders as appropriate.
• Manage the alignment of Pricing.
• Generate purchase orders and review requisitions, running PO report when necessary.
• Deliver on agreed metrics using TDM & ABS tools.
• Resolve or escalate open PO service issues when necessary.
• Support with NPIs when required.
• Manage exceptions to the rule (Open PO Management).
• Co-ordinate with tactical support teams.
• Liaise with the global sales and customer service teams to ensure all information regarding open purchase orders are communicated.
• Coordinate with transport in conjunction with import and export shipments.
• Liaise with freight forwarders for shipment arrangements.
• Attend regular supplier operational meetings, highlighting service issues and finding suitable solutions.

What we are looking for

• Bachelor Degree in Supply Chain Logistics Management or related field.
• Previous experience in purchasing/logistics roles – minimum 3 years’ experience

• Reliable and confident working with minimal supervision
• Excellent attention to detail and high-quality focus
• Ability to work under pressure and strong problem-solving skills.
• Capable of leading department meetings and organizing conference calls when required
